What really happens...

I like to post a lot of pics on both my blog and on facebook. I've mentioned before that we have no family that live in the same town as us. This is how they stay updated on the boys.

I usually post the cute, photoshopped pictures of my family... but not today. I have a confession to make. My boys do not always pose so innocent and cute like this...

When I am trying to get them to pose for a cute picture most of them look something like this...

All I wanted this morning was one decent picture of the boys. I really should have recorded the whole thing and put that on my blog. It was quite hilarious...

Flashback Friday

I saw this on a blog a while back and thought it was such a cute idea. Here's my attempt at Flashback Friday with hopes of more to come.

Mike and I had so much fun in college. We started dating our freshman year, got engaged senior year and married 5 months after graduation.

These are some fun pics from our sophomore year in college, which was 2001-2002.

This pic was taken in Monterey where we would always go with Mike's parents when we would come visit. Little did we know we'd be taking our kiddos to this exact same spot in Monterey all the time.


Mike's 20th Birthday at Chevy's. We are so excited to not be eating cafeteria food.


Since we went to college in Redding... the bowling alley was one of the hippest places to go on a Friday night.

Smarty Pants

We are still doing preschool at home. I haven't updated on what Josh has been doing since December.

Last week was the letter V. We have also been working on writing letters, especially the letters in Josh's name.

Look at the top of his "V" page.... He wrote his name!

It's official...

My 22 month old is an underwear wearing, no accidents, potty training wonder!!!

I love visits!

My Aunt Paulett and cousins Mason and Mareya came for a visit this week. The boys (and me) were so excited. Josh is a tad obsessed with his cousin Mason and we hear about him all the time. I should have recorded his reaction when I said they were coming to visit.

We spent today at one of my favorite places... Monterey.





I must say this in every post having to do with family coming to visit... I wish my family lived closer!

He is Risen!

We've had a great Easter weekend and I am so glad that Mike had the weekend off!

On Saturday we went to a super fun Easter brunch and egg hunt. The boys had a blast and check out the beautiful setting.



My college roomie and one of my bestest friends came to visit.


We got goodies ready for the Easter Bunny, who Josh calls Peter Cottontail. Josh was certain that he needed to drink out of an umbrella straw.


Peter Cottontail came. He really needs to bring Jason his own personalized basket cover like Josh has next year.


We went to church this morning and the kids got to have another fun Easter egg hunt. They were so excited to open all their eggs when we got home.


We dyed eggs. Check out Josh's upper lip. He fell in his Sunday School class and hit his mouth on the table.



I have to say that I am a little bummed with the weather this weekend. It was cold and rainy, which meant the boys didn't get to wear their new Easter outfits. I guess they will just look pretty darn cute at church next week.
