Flashback Friday

In honor of my 10 year high school reunion being this weekend, I thought I'd share some fun pics from high school.

My girlfriends and I at grad night

My best friend (and still to this day) Dana and I getting ready for Senior Prom

Cheerleading fun

Boy have cameras come a long way in 10 years. Photoshop isn't even much help for old scanned pics.

I had a ton of fun in high school. Most people say they would never repeat those years in their lives, but I think I would.... or at least I would knowing everything I know now =)

Father's Day Fun

We had a great Father's Day! One of the fun things we did was go to our church's annual Father's Day car show. Here is Josh next to his favorite car.

I wish I would have taken more pictures. It was so nice that Mike had the day off and didn't have to rush off to work after church. We enjoyed church (Mike did awesome leading worship), a yummy lunch with Mike's parents, the car show, we let Daddy take a nap, and we bbq'd salmon for dinner, which the boys loved!

My boys are so blessed to have such an awesome dad!!

And I am so blessed to have my awesome Dad!

Poor Kid

Can someone please teach this kid's mom how to sew?

Poor Josh ripped the knee in his favorite pants (which are way too short, yet he insists on wearing them) Since Nanie wasn't here to fix them and he knows that Mommy doesn't sew he took matters into his own hands.

God is Awesome

I mentioned a while ago that I recently became a Independent Beauty Consultant with Mary Kay Cosmetics. In this short time of building my business I have already seen God at work and have been truly blessed by this opportunity.

I really want to get the word out there about this awesome opportunity that could really bless your family as well. This is by no means a sales pitch... promise! I am just so thankful that one of my friends shared the opportunity with me and want to do the same.

It is perfect for a stay at home mom who is ready for a little hobby, girl time and of course extra income for the family. As well as, anyone looking for something fun and flexible to do on the side. And who doesn't like awesome beauty products at half price and sometimes even free?!

Mary Kay is nationwide, so no matter where you live you can be a consultant. Leave me a comment if you are interested in hearing more about this awesome opportunity. I'd love to hook you up with some info!!

Rodarte Roundup

This weekend we traveled to Bulletin for the Rodarte family reunion. This is my Dad's side of the family. Thanks to Handy Manny's Motorcycle Adventure movie, my kids knew exactly what a family reunion was.

We had a ton of fun visiting with lots of family and swimming. At the end of the day we went to an RV show just for fun before we left town. That was dangerous... very, very dangerous for this family of dirt bike riders who really want a toy hauler 5th wheel. We refrained ourselves and didn't come home pulling one with the Tahoe, even though the salesman almost lured us in.

Nana and her great grandkids

Like I say in every post relating to visits with my family.... wished we all lived closer!
