Super Fun Day

We love Monterey, yet don't go as often as we'd like. Today we were itchin' to get out of the house, so we headed to Monterey to try out a new children's museum that recently opened. The museum is called My Museum and it was really cool. I definitely recommend it to anyone with kids who live in the area. It is geared toward preschool/early elementary age. I took a ton of great pictures, but here were a few of the boys' favorite exhibits.

Josh loved driving the ambulance and the back was filled with stuff that a real one would have.


This little Victorian house was all set up inside. We cooked a few meals.


Josh is inside of a bubble.


Jason loved the tractor.


We spent most of our time on the fire truck and in and out of the uniform.


After the museum we headed to Pacific Grove to play at the beach.
Jason ate(and ate)the sand.


Josh went right in.


Josh and Daddy climbed on the rocks and found sea lions with babies.


We can't wait to go back to the beach!

Wordless Wednesday

Heat Wave

90 degree weather in April.

Fun Visit

One of my best friends and college roomie, Rebecca came to visit today. We had fun just relaxing a playing with the kids. Mike was home today, so... we left the kiddos for a bit and went out to lunch and got a pedicure, which was so nice!
Here is a fun pic of us back in the day. We were 18, freshman in college and complete dorks who had tons of fun. I want to know why she let me wear bright red lipstick though!!

Easter

Apparently...

...the Easter Bunny is coming to our house tonight through the front door and will go to the kitchen counter where he'll find a carrot, water and eggs. He'll drink all the water, eat some of the carrot and eat two eggs and leave the shells all over. Then the Easter Bunny will leave Josh and Jason their goodies.

Well... at least this is exactly what Josh thinks is going to happen while he is sleeping. And yes, the Easter Bunny already came and did everything Josh hoped for and is getting ready to go to bed.

This is what Josh left out. The Scooby Doo plate was a must.

Here was our fun (messy) afternoon of dying Easter Eggs. (I don't keep a poker tablecloth on all the time, it was protect my table from the dye.... I promise)



Most importantly, we explained to Josh the REAL meaning of Easter and that is not about the Easter Bunny. I pray that as both boys grow up they will truly know and understand what Jesus Christ did for them!

Can A Mom Get A Good Pic Around Here?

I am constantly taking pictures of my boys. But, it is getting almost impossible to get even one good posed picture or one without Josh picking his nose. It does make for some funny pics though!

Why

I can't believe what I heard on CNN News yesterday and I can't stop thinking about it. How can a man be so mad at his wife that he kills his 5 innocent children??? I am so sad, disgusted and angry at the same time. You turn on the news to hear the news.... and instead it is always stories like this one.
