Friday Funday

I always look forward to Friday. Of course, because it is the beginning of the weekend but also it is our only non school night that all 4 of us are together. We are making Fridays family night. We don't have much time now with all 4 of us home at the same time, so it is important to us to really make the most of our Friday nights.

One Friday we went out to pizza and bowling.... 

followed by some video games...  my boys always choose the motorcycles and gun ones. I may have had some fun with dance dance revolution.

The Friday Mike was out of town we stayed home and played games. It pretty much ended up being the evening of hide and go seek. Josh and Jason love that game.

This week we told the boys that we would go out for a special treat on Friday if we got good reports from their teachers all week. Really this was used to remind Jason to be a good boy at school. It worked and he had a great week. He was so excited after school on Friday to come home and tell Daddy that his teacher said he had another good day.

The boys chose to go out to ice cream and to make it even more fun we rode in Mike's jeep with the top off. The boys love that thing. I secretly like it too. Mike was driving that jeep on the night we first met.

 We did things a little backwards and followed ice cream with a bbq at home for dinner. We have SO MUCH fish from Mike's trip. We bbq'd fish, chicken and played some soccer in the backyard. Josh got new cleats for soccer, so he was excited to try them out.
