Pray for Haiti

If you haven't heard already, Haiti had a 7.0 devastating earthquake today. You can read the details here.

Our church supports Pastor Jossaint in Haiti who runs the New Life To The Children Orphanage. This orphanage is in Port-Au-Prince, where they earthquake hit.

Our little girl, Fabian who we support lives in that Orphanage.

I loved these Highlight Magazines when I was a kid.

Now they have (or maybe always had and I've never knew) Highlights High Five, which is designed for preschool age.


The boys got a subscription from their Grandparents and are loving it. It is so fun and completely age appropriate for Josh. Last night, we sat and did the different hidden picture pages for almost an hour. Jason has enjoyed coloring all the fun pictures too and having me read the stories to him.

I'm always looking for fun ways for my kids to learn.

The boys got a Thomas the Train set for Christmas and love setting up the tracks and playing with it.


They were playing so nice on their own little 'Island of Sodor' (from the Thomas movies)


Then it quickly turned into... 'Let's cook the trains up for dinner'


This is the kind of weird stuff my boys do all the time...

Bring it on, 2010!

Really.... 2010?! For some reason I suddenly feel really old. Maybe it is because my 10 year high school reunion will be this year and I really don't feel like it has been that long.
I'm ready for the new year. I'm not ready for my babies to turn 4 and 2 though or to celebrate another birthday that is pushing me ever so close to 30.
